Sophomore Andrew Qualifies for National Indoor Track Championship in March!

Congratulations to sophomore Andrew Wright as he was dubbed “the one to watch” for all of  San Antonio Private High School sprinters according to Milesplit.

In the past two weekends, Andrew competed in the eighteen-year old bracket with his club track team at Lousiana State University and the University of Arkansas.

Andrew has qualified to run in the Indoor National Championships in New York in all three of his events: the individual 400m, 4x400m relay, and the 4x200m relay. Andrew ran a 21 second split in the 4x200m relay, which is an elite division 1 time. 

Currently, Andrew is ranked #2 in the country for all sophomores for the individual 400m and #9 in the country for the individual 200m.

We are so proud to watch Andrew pursue excellence on the track, and look forward to cheering him on at the Indoor National Championships!
