Thank you for helping make our annual gala event a success! We had over 100 people join us for a great night of fun, fellowship, and dancing. We would like to extend a huge thank you to all our donors who provided items to be auctioned, those who bid on those items, and those who put in the hard work to plan, decorate, and run the event. We are so grateful to have such a supportive community who want us to succeed. We heard lots of positive feedback from those attending and interest from those who could not join this year but want to join us next year. The ministry of Lutheran High School could not nurture faith and pursue excellence without your support. Thank you for your stewardship, and we look forward to another great event next year! Events like this one help us provide programs and opportunities at Lutheran High that enable our students to be involved in many different facets and receive a complete high school experience. Our students are routinely involved in a combination of sports, clubs, and advanced classes all in the same school year. Your contributions helps us provide the programming and support our coaches, teachers, and sponsors to create excellent experiences for our students. You made the difference this year, and we are incredibly grateful for everyone who supported us. It is auction week, and we hope to see you on Saturday for a fun evening of fellowship and fundraising. Before we share the itinerary for the evening, I want to share a few words about why events like this are so important for our ministry. Nurturing faith means reaching out not only to our students but providing opportunities for our students to reach out to others. A prime example of that is our FIRST Access partnership with Kinetic Kids. We'll talk more about this team on Saturday, but opportunities like this propel our students to pursue excellence and share the Gospel with students and families who would otherwise be outside of the LHS circle. Fundraisers like our auction help make these opportunities possible and supplement the grants we have already received. We want our students to lead lives of impact to the glory of Jesus Christ today, and long into the future. Setting our students on a path to do just that means providing moments for our students to lead academically, athletically, socially, and spiritually. I wish you all could be there for all of these moments, but I hope the Kinetic Kids story above is a small taste of the growth we see in students every day. We know that as flawed humans, we are, as Luther said, "unsuited to meet so great and difficult a task." However, with the help of the Holy Spirit and surrounded by a great crowd of believers, the work goes on, and we thank you for contributing a verse. The itinerary for the evening is below. We hope you will join us and be a part of the fun, fellowship, and fundraising to support our students as we guide them to lead lives of impact to the glory of Jesus Christ.
