Wednesday, August 10 is the first day of school! The aim of our first three days is to make students comfortable and build relationships with their peers and teachers. Thursday we will have a short schedule walkthrough, Mustang Marathon explanation and sign-up, and a fun field trip. Friday is the Mustang Marathon with team Grey looking to defend their title against team Garnet in an epic decathlon-style competition of events ranging from kickball to still-life drawing to capture the flag! LHS is a Christian High School that believes a healthy campus starts with relationships. If you want to experience the difference the Mustang family provides, spots are available but filling fast. To come and be a part of the Mustang Family, text or call 210-694-4962 or send a message to [email protected].

Summer Reading
You can find the summer reading list and assignments for this year here. The AP reading choice list is here. The most important thing is for students to read. To ensure that students are reading, we have a couple of assessment choices that students can choose. One is the writer's notebook we have been using for a while now, and the other is a chance for students to respond via Flipgrid video posts. A Servant Heart is one of the pillars at LHS. On Saturday, July 30, many of our students and families gave up a Saturday morning to serve. Whether they were painting, mowing, planting, or cleaning, they were working together to prepare our campus for the coming school year.
Whether it’s in service to our Lord, our Church, our family, our community, or our school, an LHS student puts service above self! If you are looking for a Christian High School in the San Antonio area, schedule a tour and see what it means to be a part of the Mustang family. You can text or call 210-694-4962 or email [email protected] for more information! |
