Jamie Martinez is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a BA in Theatre. After college, Jamie went to work in the business sector and eventually became an entrepreneur, owning and operating a small retail store downtown.
Jamie has been married to his wife, Adrienne, for 26 years and they have two sons. Their oldest son, Jacob, is studying theatre in college at A&M Corpus Christi, and their youngest son is a junior in high school. Jamie has taught theatre and drama for 11 years. He started his teaching career at Concordia Lutheran (San Antonio), where he still teaches middle school theatre in the afternoons. In the mornings, Jamie can be found at LHS teaching theater and World History. He believes that theatre prepares kids for life by getting in front of crowds, learning to articulate clearly, and memorizing. Jamie is passionate about the kids and their success. Events such as One Act Play are an opportunity to strive for success in a competitive environment. |
