Pursuing Excellence - Discovering our PassionsInnovation Lab is where passion meets purpose. Every Monday through Thursday, students spend forty minutes diving deep into what matters most to them – whether that's mastering a new skill, exploring a creative outlet, pushing themselves physically, or tackling real-world challenges.
Where Ideas Come to LifeAt LHS, Innovation Lab isn't just free time – it's where students become entrepreneurs, inventors, and problem-solvers. This year alone, our students have:
Academic & Competitive: Tackle college essays, prepare for science fairs, or learn about hands-on hobbies like classic car restoration, pickleball, or playing the guitar
Athletic Excellence: Student-athletes use this time to get bigger, faster, and stronger through focused weight training and agility work.
Service & Leadership: Connect with the community through service projects that make a real difference.
Personal Projects: Through our Genius Hour Grant program, students can pursue entirely self-directed projects, committing to deliver a finished product by quarter's end.

- Explored music gifts through participation in our school praise band, and performing in chapel each week
