Lutheran High School San Antonio junior, Rehan, recently completed the Harvard Undergraduate Venture Tech Summer program, where he immersed himself in the world of entrepreneurship, innovation, and business development alongside students from across the nation.
During his time in the online program, Rehan dove deep into emerging technologies and their business applications. One of the innovative concepts he explored was using smartphones to unlock hotel room doors—demonstrating how everyday technology can be reimagined to create new business opportunities and enhance customer experiences. "The program really opened my eyes to how we can take existing technology and apply it in completely new ways," Rehan shared. "It's not just about having a good idea—it's about understanding how that idea can become a viable business." Rehan is now preparing for an exciting opportunity to present his work and insights to a board of investors on August 15th. This presentation will showcase not only what he learned during his time at Harvard, but also how he plans to apply these entrepreneurial principles moving forward. "I'm excited to share everything I've learned," Rehan said. "This experience has given me a completely new perspective on innovation and business, and I hope it can inspire other students to explore entrepreneurship as well."
