Melia Wright is a graduate of Lutheran High School - Class of 2012. During her time at LHS, she was heavily involved with NHS, Student Council, sports, and creative arts. While her original plan was to continue her promising career playing basketball, God had a plan to lead her on another path after suffering a serious injury.
After studying Digital Media Communication at the University of Texas in San Antonio, Melia has spent the last 10 years working in tech in various capacities. Melia has proven success in corporate training and instructional design, managing online sales teams, and business development. In addition to her career, Melia has used her gifts to reconnect with her love for art and creative interests. Her fine art paintings have been sold and displayed worldwide, and she enjoys teaching local art classes for the community of San Antonio. Melia is our newest Digital Media Teacher and Assistant Girls Basketball Coach, in her second year coaching the Mustangs. During her free time she loves to travel and explore the great outdoors with her pup, Mr. Sherlock Bones. |
