Brooke Johnson is originally from central Illinois and is a graduate of Truman State University in Missouri. After college, she joined the Air Force and served on active duty for 7 years.
Over the years, Brooke has taught elementary school, middle school and high school all over the country. At Lutheran, she teaches English and loves to take LHS students to the assisted living facility near school for Innovation Lab. She also serves as one of the sophomore class sponsors. Brooke has been married for 23 years to her husband, Brad. He is a civil engineer for a local firm after just retiring from the Air Force after 25 years of service. They have two daughters, Abby (LHS ’23) and Bekah (LHS ’26), and one hairy golden retriever. When not teaching, Brooke enjoys reading, cooking, time outside, and spending time with family. |
