Gary Shaver is a graduate of Texas A & M - College Station. He has over 25 years of experience teaching school in Texas and Colorado. Prior to teaching he worked in business for 14 years.

Gary taught middle school math at St George, San Antonio for 3 years, Gregory Portland Middle School,  for 1 year, and East Central High School  for 13 years. 

Over the years he taught AP Government, AP Economics, AP European History, AP United States History, AP Psychology, AP World History, and Algebra II.

From 2014 to 2022 he lived in Colorado and was a GT facilitator at various Middle and High Schools.

Gary has been married to his wife, Cheri, who is a retired industrial designer at Whataburger, Constant Contact, Frontier Airlines and Platte River Power Authority. He has 2 daughters, Abigail 39, Cheyenne 30, and two sons Joey 41
and Mike 39.

When not teaching Gary enjoys reading, walking and working in the garden.
