Stephen Eggold

Hello, my name is Stephen Eggold and I am the principal of this exciting ministry. This is my 25th year overall in ministry for the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. This is the 3rd school year here at LHS.

I finished my undergraduate work at Concordia Teachers College – Seward, NE and finished my masters of Athletic Administration in 1990 at Central Michigan University. I have spent time teaching and administrating in Ohio, Michigan, and Missouri and now in Texas.

It is truly a blessing to be a part of this wonderful ministry. God has blessed LHS with a wonderful piece of property (54 acres), dedicated staff members, supportive association congregations and tremendous volunteers that make sharing the gospel of Jesus a joy. I thank God every day for putting me in this position to grow this ministry in the way He would want us to grow.

When I am not working at LHS I enjoy spending time with my wife Michelle of 24 years. We are blessed with 2 children, Tyler, 22, is in the Air Force and Jessica, 20, is at Belhaven College in Jackson, MS working on a degree in Sports Ministry. Our dog Prancer keeps our home jumping since the kids aren’t home. Some of the hobbies that I enjoy are fishing, hiking, golf and watching sports.
