What is Spiritual Life?

 Spiritual Life is a group of students lead by Ms. Poertner that meets
 on Thursday mornings before school in her classroom.  Spiritual Life
 members are in charge of leading Chapel Families.  Ms. Poertner
 helps prepare Spiritual Life members for upcoming Chapel Family
 meetings by explaining the next lesson, future activities, and upcoming
 service days or projects.  Spiritual Life helps students to continue to
 grow into Christian leaders and guide others in their walk with Christ.

Spiritual Life members are students that are identified by the faculty
as those who would do a good job leading Chapel Families. Students 
that agree to be members of Spiritual Life are expected to commit to the
following:

1.  Attend each meeting promptly at 7:00 a.m.
2.  Prepare thoroughly for each Chapel Family meeting.
3.  Work cooperatively with your partners and your assigned teacher.
4.  Display exemplary behavior.
5.  Support the policies and procedures at LHS.
