Registration

Registration for the 2009-2010 school year is in progress. Re-enrollment for returning students is not automatic. All students must complete the appropriate New Student Application or Returning Student Application and pay the school registration fee. Returning students whose accounts are in good standing may make a partial registration fee payment at the time they submit their application.

If you are interested in joining the Lutheran High School family for the remainder of the 2008-2009 school year please complete the appropriate application as listed above.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

To register for the 2009-2010 school year, students must submit their application packets to the school office. An application packet consists of:

  • A completed application form signed by the student and a parent or guardian
  • Payment of the appropriate registration fee
  • A copy of the student’s most recent grade report
  • Immunization Record
  • A copy of the student’s Social Security Card

Enrollment will not be confirmed until LHS has received two reference forms, and the student and a parent or guardian have interviewed with the principal or his representative.

Application Submittal

Applications are accepted at the High School office between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
(9:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Summer Hours), Monday through Friday
Applications may also be mailed to the school at 18104 Babcock Road, San Antonio, Texas 78255

REGISTRATION FEE

A non-refundable* registration fee is required at the time of application. The fee includes charges for testing (excluding Admissions/Placement Test, PSAT and SAT fees), textbooks, technology use/upgrades and locker use.

2008-2009 Fees

  • $600

2009-2010 Fees

  • $400 from November 3rd - January 31st
  • $500 from February 1st - March 31st
  • $600 from April 1st - beginning of school year

Payment of the registration fee secures a student's place on the registration list. Final acceptance for enrollment is dependent upon evaluation of student performance, admission/placement testing and references.

* The registration fee is refundable only in the event that LHS is unable to enroll the student.
 
A copy of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is available in the school office.
