Phil Appel

My name is Phil Appel and I’ve been serving as Lutheran High School’s business manager for eleven years. Previously I taught at Concordia University – Austin. My undergraduate degree is from the University of Texas – Austin, and my Master of Education degree is from Texas State University – San Marcos.

My wife, Kimberly, teaches first grade at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran School. We are blessed with two children, Timothy and Melissa – both graduates of LHS. Timothy is a third year student of Concordia Seminary – St Louis, and Melissa is in her second year at Texas A&M – College Station.
