Pat Feola

My name is Pat Feola, and I teach English classes and speech at Lutheran High School of San Antonio. In addition, I also sponsor ’Stang, the school newspaper, and serve as coach and coordinator for the TAPPS Academic Contest.

I completed my degrees at the following universities: Central Michigan University (B.S. in Secondary Education—English, Psychology, Sociology), University of Texas at San Antonio (M.A. in Educational Psychology), and Trinity University (Endorsement in Special Education). Other training includes Fast Break to Reading, College Board Advanced Placement, Parent Partners, and New Jersey Writing Project in Texas.

My husband and I both teach, and through the years we’ve enjoyed the rhythms of the academic year. Joshua and Jamie, our children, might not have enjoyed all the aspects our “teacher” expectations, but they hugely enjoyed the long road trips we took each summer! In addition to travel, I enjoy reading, gardening, and cheering the Spurs on to championships.
