National Honor Society

The purpose of National Honor Society is to honor and reward those that have made the choice to achieve excellence in academics, leadership, service and character.
National Honor Society seeks individuals with a commitment to achieving their personal best in each and every class. Students must maintain a combined Grade Point Average (GPA) of 85% in order to be eligible.
Lutheran High School of San Antonio’s National Honor Society seeks students who are ready and willing to take an active leadership role in the school and community. Students should display leadership qualities in all activities they partake in; whether academic, athletic, school, church, or community related.
The Lutheran High School chapter of National Honor Society also seeks people who desire to put the interests and needs of others before their own and who are good witness’s of the gospel through words and actions.
Finally, the faculty committe will look a a student's character: personality, interests, hobbies, goals and interaction with other people and circumstances. All of these things help shape your character. Lutheran High School of San Antonio’s National Honor Society seeks members who are active, hard working, servant minded, spiritually energetic, and ready and willing to work with others.

The applications for selection to the LHS branch of National Honor Society are due on Friday, May 21st. Please feel free to mail, e-mail, or hand deliver the applications. A paper copy of the application was hand delivered to all eligible students, and they may retrieve an electronic copy here.
