MERIT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The following merit scholarship awards are available through Lutheran High School.

Daniel Scholarship

The Valedictorian and Salutatorian graduating from the 8th grade of each of the Lutheran High School Association member elementary schools (Concordia Lutheran and Shepherd of the Hills) each receives a scholarship in the amount of $1,500 to be applied to LHS tuition.  If the student does not enroll at LHS, the scholarship is not transferable, nor will it be awarded to another student.  This scholarship is renewable annually provided the student’s cumulative GPA remains above 00.

Solomon Scholarship

Students who score in the top 10% on the Lutheran High School pre-enrollment Admissions/Placement Test receive a one-time $500 scholarship to be applied to LHS tuition. To be eligible for the scholarship, the student must take the test prior to February 1. If a student in unable to attend any of the scheduled testing sessions, his/her parent(s) should contact the LHS school office to discuss alternate testing options. Alternate testing must take place before February 1 for the student to be eligible for the scholarship.  If an eligible student does not enroll at LHS, the scholarship is not transferable, nor will it be awarded to another student.
