Since health is so critical to the quality of life, the
focus of this class is on learning how to become healthy
and stay healthy. The class provides information
to influence student's attitudes so that they take
positive action about their health. Areas of study
include: mental health, stress, marriage and
parenthood, development in the life cycle, reproductive
systems, getting and staying fit, diet, tobacco,
alcohol, drugs, sex education, STDs, first aid, and
handling emergencies.
