LHS expects each athlete will:
-
Glorify God with your abilities in
both practice and games as well as off the playing field.
-
Strive for excellence in the classroom
as well as the field.
-
Always conduct themselves in a manner
that will make proud your family, your school, and your Savior.
-
Be honest and loyal to your school,
teachers, coaches, and teammates.
-
Never take an opportunity to criticize,
nor pass up an opportunity to praise.

LHS Athletics
Lutheran High School competes in TAPPS (Texas Association for Private and
Parochial Schools) 4A. Lutheran High School competes against a wide
variety of public and private schools, in a variety of sports for both boys
and girls.
Lutheran High School believes that participation is one of
the keys to a good high school experience. For this reason we
encourage all of our students to participate in as many extracurricular
activities as possible. One of the great ways nearly 100% of our
students choose to participate is athletics. Like art, music, and
academics, athletics offers a venue for students not only to compete and
use the gifts the Lord blessed them with, but also to learn valuable
life lessons. Teamwork, overcoming adversity, and learning how to
balance a busy schedule are only a few of the many valuable lessons that
can be taken from participation in athletics.
