Andrew Eickstead

My name is Andrew Eickstead and I have been teaching at Lutheran High School since the fall of 2004. I am also a Lutheran High School of San Antonio graduate of the class of 2000. In addition to instructing classes I help coach six man football and am the head baseball coach.

I am a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio with bachelors degree in English. I also just completed my masters Degree in Educational Technology at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.

As you might have guessed, I am a native Texan and enjoy San Antonio immensely. I also love to travel and have spent several summers out west in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Oregon and California as well as up north in Illinois and Wisconsin.

I have a daughter who was born on Cinco de Mayo 2007 and a son who was born just before Christmas in 2008.

When I am not teaching, coaching or spending time with the kids, I enjoy fly fishing, hunting, and restoring classic cars.
