Andrew Eickstead has been teaching at Lutheran High School since the fall of 2004. He is also a Lutheran High School of San Antonio graduate of the Class of 2000.
In addition to teaching classes in English and Technology, Mr. Eickstead is also the head baseball coach and the National Honor Society sponsor.
Mr. Eickstead is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio with a bachelors degree in English and has also completed his Masters Degree in Educational Technology at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. A native Texan, he enjoys San Antonio immensely. He also loves to travel and has spent several summers out west in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Oregon, and California as well as up north in Illinois and Wisconsin.
Mr. Eickstead is blessed to have a daughter who was born on Cinco de Mayo in 2007 and a son who was born just before Christmas in 2008. When he is not teaching, coaching, or spending time with his wife Christine and the kids, he enjoys fly fishing, hunting, and restoring classic cars.
