World History

This course examines the development of man's cultural,
social and political achievements from the earliest
civilizations through the modern age. The class
will study both western and non-western cultures, with a
major emphasis on western civilizations.

World History Honors
1 credit
In
addition to the topics covered in World History, this
course will require the use of higher level thinking
skills in relation to cause and effect relationship of
important world events. Skills necessary to be
successful in Advanced Placement US History will be
taught and reviewed. Additional outside readings
and projects will be required.
