Students learn to incorporate their faith into every facet of their academic, spiritual, and personal development.  Whether analyzing poetry in English class or learning teamwork on the athletic field, students are taught to apply the timeless truths of Christianity.

LHS Offers Proven Academic Achievement

Over 1/3 of our students score 1200 or higher on the SAT, or 24 or higher on the ACT.  In recent years, LHS has produced a National Merit Scholar, a National Hispanic Scholar, and two National Commended Scholars.

LHS Offers a Full Range of Advanced Placement (AP) and Honors Programs

Expect to work hard in our normal courses.  For students ready for the challenge, AP and Honors courses offer additional academic opportunities.  A wide variety of fine arts courses and electives are also offered.  Whatever your interests, you’ll find them addressed at LHS.

75% of our staff, in addition to their certifications, possess or are working on advanced degrees.  Several have university level teaching experience. Every year, LHS students are recruited by top colleges across America.  Our staff Career Guidance Counselor works with each student to prepare for college entrance exams.  She will help your family navigate the complicated world of college admissions and financial aid.  In addition, LHS students average more than $20,000 each in scholarship awards.
