The United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps is a national
ROTC program available to 13-17 year olds officially
sponsored by the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard.
The local unit is
Alamo Battalion.
This unit meets once a month and trains cadets
physically and academically for enlisted and officer
careers in the Armed Forces. Many Cadets have
obtained ROTC scholarships and secured appointments to
Service Academies such as the Naval Academy, West Point
and the Air Force
Academy.
