ACCREDITATION
Lutheran High School, a college preparatory Christian
high school in the tradition of Lutheran education, is
supported by six congregations of the Lutheran Church
Missouri Synod (Concordia Lutheran Church and School,
Crown of Life Lutheran Church, Messiah Lutheran Church
of Boerne, Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Redeemer
Lutheran Church, and Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran
Church and School). In 1999, LHS was granted regional
and national accreditation through the Lutheran Schools
Accreditation Commission, which is recognized by the
Commissioner of Education of the Texas Education Agency
(TEA). Yearly accreditation evaluations enable LHS to
maintain its
excellent
accreditation rating.
AFFILIATION
Lutheran High School is a member of the Texas
Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS),
the Independent Schools Association, and the Association
of Lutheran Secondary Schools (ALSS). LHS hosts
chapters of the National Honor Society and the
Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
