• National Honor Society is holding a food drive the weeks of October 15^th-26^th in order to help fill the food pantry of the Edgewood Family Network.  Lutheran High School NHS members will be working with Concordia Lutheran School and Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran School NJHS members to organize, gather and deliver non-perishable food items.  NHS members from all three schools will deliver the food on Tuesday, October 30^th.

  Donated items will be helping the Edgewood Family Network at Mission Luterana.

  Their Goal is to help people:

  1. Eat a healthy diet.Exercise (including sports).

  2. Providing Community Resources

  3. Advocacy and Support

• National Honor Society would like to extend a big thank you to all the Future Freshmen who visited on October 17th.  It was awesome to see 142 8th grade students looking forward to high school.  We will continue to pray that the Lord leads each student to the place they will see abundant success in high school, and truly hope Lutheran High School of San Antonio may be the place that your student can achieve success.
• National Honor Society is helping host the middle school ISAL cross country meet on October 27^th.   NHS members will staff a concession stand, record time for races, and generally volunteer to do what is necessary to make the event a wonderful opportunity for fellowship with fellow Christians.
• National Honor Society is also tentatively planning to make care packages for the soldiers in Iraq.

Our National Honor branch is staffed by 13 students. our staff advisor is Andrew Eickstead.
