TAPPS Competition and Coffeehouse Every year near the end of February, the LHS Drama Club puts on a Coffeehouse performance of the pieces that will go to competition. If there are more than three of the same type of performance, judges will choose who goes to regional competition. Judges also provide constructive criticism. If the person or team places at regional competition, they move onto state which is held at Concordia University in Austin, Texas.

About Drama Club This year LHS Drama Club is being coached by Mrs. Feola. Although we are sad that Mrs. Huck will not be coaching us this year, we are excited to learn new things from our new coach. LHS's drama club is a very determined group. In the past couple of years we haven't been able to put on any plays, but each year we have a Coffeehouse production to prepare for the TAPPS competition. Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Music by RICHARD RODGERS Book and Lyrics by OSCAR HAMMERSTEIN Based on the play "Green Grow the Lilacs" by Lynn Riggs Original Dances by Agnes de Mille Contributions are needed for sets and props.
